Happy St Patrick's Day

I'm making corned beef & cabbage in the crockpot. I love using that. It's so easy. Just prep the ingredients, put them in the pot & let simmer for eight hours. Checking every so often. The way my grandma made it, it also had potatoes. I've added carrots & onions. It smells yummy. Will be ready in the next couple of hours. I have some Irish in me. What about you? Or, do you just like to eat this meal, regardless of your heritage?
